The reception had no record of our pre-paid, pre booked double room, but were just able to fit us in. They only had a couple of rooms left, so it could have been a disaster for us as we were there for a function, but it worked out fine. The bar downstairs was busy and the service was slowish, but... Wow. This hotel in dundee should be avoided and I will be avoiding it and all Malmaison establishments from now on based on a 40 minute visit we made there on 15th November for cocktails. Malmaison obviously does not care about training their staff. We waited 30 minutes after ordering 3 cocktails for them to be brought to our table.... More

I stayed here overnight. Found myself wishing I'd stayed loner room was nice, extremely comfortable bed. Bathroom very nice. Staff went out of their way to help when I was running late. I stay in a lot of hotels and would have to rate the experience at this particular Malmaison very highly. Thanks for making my short stay enjoyable.

After our great experience of dinner at Malmaison, Glasgow we decided to try the afternoon tea in Dundee. Wow what a feast!! As it was £15 we decided to have one between two but there was so much we really didn't need any dinner that evening!! 4 sandwiches, quiche, huge sausage roll, 2 scones, 2 strawberry tarts & 2 cakes.... I stayed here for a night with work. In Dundee my work usually uses Apex but this one is more central so I tried it this time. Both are similar price wise. This is consistent with the Mal brand, very nice design wise and some local (Beano artwork which is local to Dundee) touches in the rooms and throughout the... More

Stayed here on an itison deal: £69 for a double room with a glass of champagne each and continental breakfast. We then paid an extra £30 to stay on a Saturday night, which I didn’t mind since it’s still a great deal. Room was lovely with all the basics you need. Comfy bed with fur throw, big shower, nice toiletries... More

This will have been the first time that we stayed at the Malmaison and can honestly not recommend it enough. The hotel itself is in a brilliant location just a stones throw away from the train station and the city centre. We were checked in quickly and shown to our room. The room itself was very luxurious with low level... More

We really enjoyed our stay in Malmaison Dundee. The room was lovely, the hotel itself was beautiful and a little quirky. The staff were all very friendly and gave great service. We went as a celebration for my husband's 50th birthday so upgraded to a 'river view' room. Our room did have view of the River Tay but the website... More

The rooms are fabulous and the beds big and comfy, I loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom. We ate in the restaurant and I have to say i have never enjoyed a steak so much before, it was delicious. Charlene the restaurant Manager was extremely attentive and definitely knew what was happening in the room. The cooked breakfast also... More

Just back from our 2nd visit to Mal Dundee. Both times on voucher deals which are worth every penny. Hotel is in a great location next to train station and minutes from the shops, bars etc. Rooms are great with really comfy big bed. Love the underfloor heating in the bathroom and excellent large rain showers. Only issue is lighting... More
