The exterior of this purpose built hotel makes it look like a 1970's office block and gives a very poor initial impression, which is soon forgotten upon walking inside. Caught the train down from Inverness and decided to break my journey in Dundee to catch up with some friends on my way to Edinburgh. I stayed at the Apex overnight for a delegate meeting. On approach it doesn't look much from the outside but what a surprise when i checked in.
