Unfriendly host , maybe obnoxious is a better word to describe the man host , filthy hairs on the shower walls , disgusting , old decrepit furniture. Breakfast foul , i hope i never return to Dundee but if i do , i can assure you i would never ever stay at this place or recommend it to anyone visiting... More

My wife and I stayed here last weekend 8th and 9th to visit my wife's seriously ill brother. After a long drive from liverpool we arrived to find our host Ward, an extremely amiable friendly chap who was only too happy to take the time to advise us on the best places to eat and have a drink, also explaining... We enjoyed this B & B in an old terraced house in Dundee, within walking distance of town. Furnished with lots of interesting period pieces, and an owner who regales you with interesting stories. No complaints about the breakfast, and we had our first introudction to potato scones.

I stayed here for one night this month and was underwhelmed by the unfriendly and unprofessional welcome I experienced. The female member of staff did not greet or engage me in conversation after my long journey. Her main concern was "would I like a cooked breakfast and what time I would need it for". As I had just arrived this... More

Serving the exact same overcooked breakfast daily along with the constant monologue of our host made us feel trapped at this bnb. They might consider that the last thing guests want to hear is their hosts complaining endlessly about other guests. It might be time to find another field of work and stop using paying customers as a captive audience.

Parking right at the front door. Stairs are quite steep. Keys available so you can come and go at your leisure. Area quite and appears to be quite safe. Great views across the river. Old terraced buildings in the area add to the charm of Dundee. The rooms were nicely decorated in period charm and were clean. Breakfast is served... More

I traveled by train and city bus, so I appreciated that Anderson's has bus stops on both sides of the street nearby. It's a bit more than walking distance from downtown. The building is showing its age, but the interior furnishings are comfortable and of good quality. The bed was large and comfy. The breakfast was especially good, served in... More

The bathroom was full of hairs, the toilet hadn't been cleaned and there was poo in the bowl. No iron, no wifi, no hair dryer or shampoo in the bathroom. The lock on the door was missing its snib so I couldn't properly lock it. The white kettle in the room was filthy on the top and sides. The top... More

I stayed at Anderson's Guest House earlier this week whilst attending a conference at the West Park Conference Centre; which is a handy 5min walk away from the guest house. There is a Spar store 5min walk away in the opposite direction to the conference centre, which is conveniently open until round 10pm, and the town centre is a mere... More

We were to stay here at the end of a weeks backpacking trip when my husband got sick. The lady at our previous B&B was nice enough to drive us here where we had reservations. The host could not have been less helpful. All he kept saying was that we could not enter the rooms weren't ready yet. All we... More

In reply to this review, the guests arrived almost 5 hours earlier than expected, without the courtesy of a phone call. The luggage was securely stored for them The statement on breakfast times is factually incorrect, we serve breakfast on Saturday and Sunday from 8 am. We are not located in the middle of nowhere, 1.2 miles to the city... More
