This is not a bad hotel, but i can't compare with the others travelodge i have seen. Nice bed and quiet room. But it seems to be not the top of the cleaness and this for me is the most important thing. The price is good for scotland if you book quite early.

Very clean and comfortable room , all rooms recently refurbished. Next to Camperdown Park and golf club and 5-10 mins drive to excellent Eating Inn for meal and other Dundee attractions notably Discovery Point

On arrival one of the three rooms booked had the door handle hanging off, dirty towel in room from previous guest. Another room had earrings and keys left from a previous guest and third room generally not very clean. On requesting use of an iron the reception staff stated she did not know where the iron was or who had... More

Booked 2 nights (Fri/Sat) to accommodate family whilst attending a family wedding nearby. First impression driving up was that it was functional, being next to a busy garage, but not too welcoming as also next to a closed down restaurant! Reception staff welcoming and friendly which was a good start, and the family room was adequate but nothing special. Asked... More

Having used Travelodges in the past and been less than happy with them, I was looking forward to comparing this "upgraded" lodge to the normal ones I have been used to. Welcome was very warm with the chap on duty being very chirpy considering we arrived fairly late on. A nice starting point and as we walked to our first... More

Stayed here while on cycling trip through England and Scotland. My friend and I booked 2 single rooms and were charged 82 pounds each; no breakfast, WiFi didn't work and beds were the most uncomfortable bed I think I've ever slept in. No restaurant and no pub nearby. Will never stay in another Travellodge. The Premier Inn just down the... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Not all of our hotels have an onsite bar/cafe and this will be stated at the time of booking. We’re sorry to learn that you found the bed to be uncomfortable as we have received great feedback regarding our new Dreamer beds. Feedback is invaluable and we thank you for... More

Friendly welcome and the room was spacious and clean. Corridor leading to the bedrooms could have done with a hoover but for what we paid the hotel was ideal. Great location and I liked that it was in an old Jute Mill. Would use again and recommend as a no frills hotel.

Spotlessly clean and surprisingly quiet, this family room was cheap as chips but very comfortable and quite spacious given we were 4 people staying in it. With our own car to explore the area, it didn't matter that we were staying slightly out of town, and we ate out before returning for the night so the lack of restaurant didn't... More

Conveniently placed for travel but no eating establishments within walking distance. A grotty looking diner next door had closed down. Hotel staff were friendly and efficient but the hotel had a bit of a creepy feeling to it.

We booked this hotel as we where traveling on a small budget. The room was clean and comfortable although I did spot that one if the mugs had a ring left in it. The bathroom was clean and everything worked. It had a bath which was nice although it was very small so my fiancé didnt really fit in it.... More
