Staff were rude when we had just arrived and were only booking in and room was not what we booked (not a good start), cleanliness was not top of the list, our room had dust everywhere, and the food was not much better it was cold and even the breakfast eggs were not cooked through, no marmalade for the toast... more

First impressions, carpet unhoovered from previous occupants. Bad layout in the loo.Dinner returned twice, really poor quality. Breakfast wasnt any better, still waiting on it being produced. Not enough space here to fill you in on it all. What a shame given money spent on it recently. We had booked in for 2 nights and checked out after one it was so... more

We had an excellent stay. The hotel is presently being refurbished so some areas are unfinished and little details are missing - only tea / coffee making facilities in bedrooms and no shelving or drawers for clothing, but in the main it was very good. The restaurant was very nice, set in a pleasant conservatory overlooking the garden, the close... more

This hotel is awful. Says it is anew hotel, it is the same old Swallow Hotel with all the toxic assets still remaining. It is shabby and the staff are not helpfull, to point of rudeness. They don't reply to email or return calls. The food is not 4 star and staff seem very poorly trained. Our meals were cold... more

We booked using the "summer" offer on the Landmark www... 2 nights B%B, Dinner on the first night for £79.50. This was a good offer, and a great price, in my opinion. The hotel is newly refurbed, and all the work was completed when we were there (although I believe they will be refurbing the leisure complex soon). The room... more

We went up for a family wedding and stayed at the Landmark for a long weekend. All the staff were very friendly and helpful also we asked for a pull up bed for my daughter but they didn't put one in the room so the next day when we asked again they just gave us another room free of charge.... more

Stayed for two nights with husband and one small child. Staff all helpful - but they are very busy and think the hotel should get a few more of them to cope with busy periods. They put a folding bed into the room for our child, which was adequate for her. The refurbished room was very nice - in parts... more
