Situation in the heart of Dundee on the Nethergate. There is close access to the shops, Dundee Contemporary Arts, bars and the University. You will find the rooms reasonably priced (£70 double), clean and staff friendly. There is free parking and wifi access. Although the decor the decor has remained in the 1970's I would recommend a stay here if... more

We have stayed here 4 times over 3 years and have found it excellent. Very good rates if booked in advance on no cancellation basis. The rooms vary. This time we had a big bright room and bathroom overlooking the water but they have never been less than comfortable, clean, abd adequate. The position is excellent, right next to the... more

Great hotel - really central in a nice part of town. No need for taxi after our night out - we could just walk back to the hotel. Excellent room on the third floor. Comfy bed, great night's sleep. Car park is really handy. Good value for money. Couldn't fault it. more

This was a very short notice booking for a twin room for Friday and Saturday night for myself and my 9-year-old son. Our 2nd floor room was fine, clean and equipped with a small flat screen TV. Bathroom was more than adequate. Front desk staff were very nice. It would appear that our room was directly above a function suite... more

Phoned and booked a small room for a Business meeting, received confirmation. Phoned a week before to give exact numbers - all 10 of us. When we arrived we were shown the room. it was huge. Spoke to pregnant female Manager who said that was what i booked. I was gob-smacked. I said I had the email confirmation but she... more

Had to change plans at last moment. Managed to get a room in this old hotel in centre of Dundee. Very near University Campus and Train Station. Rooms look relatively modern -small flat screen TV etc. Huge central staircase with 4 floors of rooms! Breakfast left a lot to be desired but otherwise a great, handy place to stay at... more

I have just returned from a four night stay at the Queens Hotel, Dundee. The hotel has a great location in the middle of Dundee. The booking was made through work so I rang the day before and explained that I would be arriving before the official check in time, they said that would be fine and would try and... more

We have just spent one night at the Queens Dundee. It was absolutely terrible. One of the worst places (i couldnt call it a hotel) we have ever stayed in. The room stunk of smoke! It was supposed to be a double room and it was tiny! It had a slanting ceiling so when you got out of bed it... more

I stayed at this hotel with my fiance and had a lovely time. LOCATION----The location is slap bang in the middle of Dundee center but we had no trouble at all with noise and our room faced right on the front. ROOMS----Very large, comfortable bed, very clean and a very powerful shower. BREAKFAST----The breakfast room is absolutly lovely and there... more
