I stayed for a relaxing weekend away with my wife, we were welcomed from the moment we entered the hotel and throughout our visit, the room was spacious, clean, and the lazy chair was the most comfortable chair I have ever sat in. We had a king room over looking the tay and the views at dusk were amazing. The... more

Stayed here for 2 nights. Hotel overlooks the Tay and is only a short walk away over a footbridge, to the city centre. My room on the first floor overlooked the river and as it had large windows, it made the rrom very light, airy and inviting. Unfortunately part of the carpet was worn in places and the window ledge hadn't... more

I spent a night in Hilton Dundee and I have to say I was unimpressed. I have stayed in other Hilton hotels and this is by far the worst. The room was old fashioned, the furniture had clearly been there for a very long time and many of the fittings were incredibly worn. The only modern aspect of the room... more

Stayed at the Hilton Dundee recently on business for one night with colleagues. I understand that this hotel used to be the Dundee Stakis before it became a Hilton franchise. From the outside it has truly awful looks - typical of the time period in which it was built no doubt. I paid £72 for a Standard Double but was... more

This was a great disappointment. Not my first Hilton stay, but probably my last in Dundee. The service was good, all the staff helpful and friendly. The room overlooked a casino and the car park, a view of the Tay cost extra. The hotel is well located, next to a swimming pool and leisure facilities, entrance included. There are good... more

My hubby and I spent a couple of nights at this hilton Fri 1st & Sat 2nd May, What a Nightmare!! We have stayed at this hotel a number of times and only once asked to change rooms and yes we got the same grotty one this time. The room (number 232) directly facing the 24Hr Casino, was airless, no... more

I booked three twin rooms in the Hilton Dundee for old school pals for a 'get together'. This was the first Hilton I had stayed in and can honestly say I was very dissapointed. The room I was in was shabby, the furniture was worn looking and the decor dated. The staff were efficient, but not that friendly. Thankfully I... more

Never got past the Reception in our first visit to 'a Hilton', we were really looking forward to our experience only to be told that the hotel was overbooked by SIX rooms, we had booked FOUR weeks before. We were told that the manager had booked us into the Invercarse Hotel, it was fully explained however that it was at... more
