A very pleasant. relaxing hotel with a bit of character. Room clean and comfortable. Nice LCD TV. Kettle with tea, coffees etc Herbal tea would have been nice. Rooms were clean but small. Seems to be a bit of a wedding factory at weekends, and if you're not part of the wedding then the staff don't actually give a hoot about you. Have just stayed for two nights,as recommended by colleagues. It was very disappointing. Miniscule bedrooms, window would not close properly, no d/g, but was very clean. stayed at the invercase in dundee some years ago.. with a group of friends .. came down to breakfast and was treated to the white gloves because the very friendly, the then crown prince of norway...on a private visit to scotland ..was sat at the next table...a breakfast to be remembered.. more
