Probably one of Moffat's best kept secrets. We stayed here for two nights and had a great time. We had a standard room which was better than many five star hotels we've stayed in. Being a nice period property, the room was spacious with lovely decor which was modern but complemented the traditional features of the house. Service was excellent... More

This is our second stay at this well kept traditional Scottish country manor and it was even better than the first time. We stayed two nights and as before became so relaxed and well fed by the chefs local masterpieces. A real hidden gem to be enjoyed by those seeking peace and quiet in the trails and hills of beautiful... More

Stayed for two nights.Very pleasant and attentive atmosphere and nothing too much trouble.Good choice for breakfasts with excellent service. Not in centre of Moffat but a pleasant walk, possibly not for the less ambulant, but a short taxi ride if required. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to explore this very scenic part of Scotland. More

Stayed in the four poster room for 2 nights and it was fab. Gorgeous room, lovely view, delicious breakfasts and Carol was lovely. The bed was really comfortable and clean and having blankets on was a lovely change. The attention to details was was amazing, even down to the royal jelly soap which was divine. I would highly recommend Bridge... More

Stayed for two nights in the superior double. Short amble from the centre of Moffat. Lovely room with great views over the hills. Made to feel very welcome on our arrival and not rushing to leave on our way out. Would recommend to anyone. More

We chose this based on the website information and its accessibility for visiting relatives in Glasgow (less than an hour up the road) while staying in a previously unexplored rural part of Scotland. Four nights was not enough to do all we would like to do, so hope to get back again. The house was spacious and comfortable and Carol's... More

This was our second visit and I am sure we will be back again. We only stopped the one night but wish to return to explore the area further as it has a lot to offer. We would strongly reccomend booking the evening meal when booking the room as it is a real treat. The quality and presentation are superb. More

Sadly our stay at Bridge House was not a happy one. We were a late booking (5 days brfore our stay) and put in room 7. This is an attic room with the bed in the eaves of the roof. Unfortunately it was cold in the room, (measured 18 degrees on our thermometer), and we asked for the heating to... More

The service is superb and Carol always makes us feel very welcome. The room is ample, the beds are comfortable, linen is spotlessly clean, and the kettle is always a welcome sight. Breakfast is lovely, with plenty of choice, and the fresh free range eggs are gorgeous. The location is good: lovely views of the hills, and quiet. Thank you,... More

We have stayed over night at the Bridge House on a number of occasions over the past few years en route to the Aberdeen area. We have always found a very warm welcome from Carol, she makes us feel like one of the family. The house and rooms are always spotlessly clean. The beds are very comfortable but unfortunately blankets... More
