Really enjoyed our stay, Staff very helpful and food excellent. Wife appreciated the hot bath when we arrived after the 250 mile trip on the back of a motorcycle in the rain. I appreciated being able to jet wash the bike and being able to lock it away in the secure motorbike garage provided. Will visit again next year

A group of us were cycling from Lands End, to John o' Groats, when some bloody awful weather hit us. The support crew in a Mini bus, called Moffat, & we were put up in the Church Hall, with The Buccleuch, feeding us. They were brilliant, nothing was a problem, including children or dogs. So relaxed. We were fed that... More

A bit tardy this review, but nonetheless - my husband and I stayed here for three nights in July, part of a two-week motorcycle tour around Scotland - and couldn't have been happier that we did. The hotel itself is charming, the staff is tremendous, the location is perfect as a base for some of the best riding in Scotland... More

Can't praise this place highly enough, I've stopped several times and the staff and owners cannot be more friendly especially if you're a biker. We turned up late after a 2hrs in the rain dripping wet. No problem, straight to the room to get sorted and do the paper work later. Don't let that put off you non bikers this... More

Stayed at teh Buccleuch Arms in June 2014 during our motorcycle tour of Scotland. helpful staff, upon arrival the receptionist ran our weilding keys for our own private motorcycle garages in the gardens. Clint who was part of the management was very helpful, getting us our first beer before we had even got our biking gear off, it was a... More

Wanted somewhere South of Glasgow so we could travel to our Park and Ride in the morning. Staff welcomed us and confirmed our booked table for the evening dinner. When we mentioned we would be leaving early the next morning for the games they offered a packed lunch in replacement for the No Breakfast. Excellent and well received. Meal that... More

We stayed here for one night with a group of 9 biker friends on the way up to the highlands. Our friend had booked the accommodation as he had stayed her before .We arrived late afternoon and were shown round to the back of the hotel where there was a row of bike sheds with all with a ramp and... My husband and I stopped here for lunch recently (Aug 1st) on our way to The Lake District. The food was lovely, I had the grilled goats cheese salad to start and my husband had the risotto and haggis balls both were very tasty. Both of us then had the Thai chicken curry with rice again very tasty and the... More

Hubby and I stayed for two nights and ate three nights at the end of July 2014. We were met with a very warm and friendly welcome and within five minutes had a drink brought to us. The sheds for the bike are a big plus with shelving and hangers for helmets and leathers, peace of mind that the bike... More
