I concur with all the other positive reviews. We stayed for just one night, travelling north. Host Brad and Ronald were helpful and welcoming. Fresh buns when we arrived. Excellent breakfast. Room was just fine - at first we were concerned as it was right by the street, but the bouble glazing is good and we had no noise problem... More

The wife & I went to Scotland for the commonwealth games an ex colleague suggested 29 well street and I'm glad they did, we were welcomed with a hot cup of tea and coffee with cake, and given a brief run down on the facilities and local amenities. The standards were great, exceptionally clean, great breakfast chose from a menu... More

Stayed here Aug 2014 with my mum. Really could not find any fault with this place it's perfect. Twin room was lovely, spotless and nicely decorated, everything was included like toiletries, teas and coffees etc. Also free wi-fi. Breakfast was great, good options for vegetarians including veggie sausages. Hosts were lovely and very accommodating, they even got rid of a... More

I had actually won a nights stay here in a competition in July 2013 but had been unable to fit a trip in until the following year. We arrived shortly after lunch time, following an excellent ride through the area, both on motorbikes and fully luggaged up. Ron and Bradley could not have been more welcoming and provided excellent secure... More

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at No 29 Well St. We were warmly welcomed with tea ,cake and broad smiles. The property is tastefully and elegantly decorated and the rooms very comfortable. The breakfast was beautifully presented, plentiful and delicious. Dinner recommendations and local information was volunteered and very much appreciated. We left wishing we had booked for... More

We decided on Friday morning to have a couple of days away in Southern Scotland. I found that No 29 Well Street had a room available and booked. I can honestly say that this is the best B&B we have ever stayed in. On arrival we were greeted with tea and cakes and made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was... More

I had read the reviews, and had also been advised by a friend who had stayed the week before me. However, on arrival, I instantly knew that I had made the right choice. Bradley and Ron are two extremely nice people, who go out of their way to make your stay special. (If you have an interest in classic cars,... More

Fantastic in every respect! We arrived exhausted on our tandem. The gents could not have been friendlier or more welcoming. The b&b is beautiful with excellent attention to detail; perfect venue, perfect hosts. They rescued us with tea and cakes, then recommended and booked our evening meal for us, having arranged secure accommodation for our bike. They even laundered our... More

I travel A LOT, mostly on business but sometimes, as in this case, for pleasure. I've seen it all over some 30 years. But I think this has to be the best accommodation I have ever stayed in. The big mistake Ron and Brad are making is not to double the price - because it is worth it. And don't... More
