Stayed here for two nights, wish it could have been more! Lovely clean room with tea/coffee/hot chocolate/even biscuits supplied, best en suite shower ever. Breakfast cooked to order as you like it,nothing too much trouble. This establishment is run by a really nice family, host Jan could easily get employment with the Scottish Tourist Board, not much she doesn't know about the... More

A warm welcome, grand breakfast and great chat from Jan. Would fully recommend. We had a dog with us which was also welcomed. Jan was really helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Many thanks.

Used Trip Advisor to find a last minute place to stay and wasn't disappointed. Agree with everyone's comments. Ideally situated on a quiet road, lovely room pretty much everything one needs. Breakfast was superb. All in all, highly recommended and would definitely go back if I'm in the area.

Fabulous house in a lovely road. We had the twin room which was lovely, beautifully decorated, excellent en-suite, comfy beds and chairs and you can control the heat yourself which is a bonus. Well stocked tea tray, good selection and bottles of water (particularly yummy biscuits) we noticed that the milk was full fat so we asked for semi skimmed,... More

Travelling back to Moffat during our Scottish road trip we were without accommodation for 1 night and phoning around the local B&B's we got in at Rosebery House. Its about 5 minutes walk from the centre of town on a quiet road with picturesque views of the local countryside. On arrival we were met by Jan who was very warm,... More

We stayed one night in the family room with our teenage son and dog. We had a lovely welcome from Jan even though we were late arriving. The room was a good size with a nice big bathroom and comfortable beds. After a good nights sleep we had a lovely cooked breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

We called in on our way up to Glasgow on the off chance of a room not having booked, Jan came to the door, gave us a great welcome and made us feel totally at home by putting on the kettle for us. What a lovely place and we can only thank Jan for all her kindness and enthusiasm, great... More

Stayed two nights on the way further north. Clean, spacious room. Great en suite shower, and lovely comfy bed. In a very quiet area on the edge of the town, but close enough to walk to the shops, about 10 minutes. Very enjoyable breakfast, with good views from all the upstairs windows. Would definately recommend and would stay again.

We recently spent 2 nights in Moffat and really enjoyed the wonderful hospitality at Rosebery House. As the weather was wet, Jan, the host suggested we visit the local cotton mill at New Nanark which we ended up spending most of the day at. She was so enthusiastic about the local area and gave us lots of ideas of things... More

My son and I had a few nights at the b&b and loved every minute. From the friendly service provided making us feel valued and completely at home, to the high level of comfort and cleanliness of the room, I honestly could not find a fault. We returned home feeling totally recharged. An excellent stay and highly recommended.
