Following a recommendation, we stayed over night at Queensberry House enroute to Aviemore. We were not disappointed - Paul and Denise couldn't have been nicer, and both the guesthouse and the location are lovely, and we look forward to returning next time we head up north.

This is a great bed and breakfast. Welcoming hosts and a very comfortable place to stay. Good location with a very short walk into the middle of town. We thoroughly recommend Queensberry House if you stay in Moffat.

This was my second visit to Queensberry House as I had first stayed with Paul and Denise back at the end of July with my husband (See my review for 26th July 2013) and as I have already stated...second visit - second wonderful stay! I was travelling by myself this time and had no hesitation booking at Queensberry House as... More

A warm welcome from pleasant hosts. My wife slept well but I found the firm mattress on a hard base to be uncomfortable. Good quality breakfast so overall a good value. Parking is on the street outside.

A warm welcome awaited us on arrival at this wonderful accommodation on a typical rainy Scottish afternoon. We stayed in a lovely spacious comfortable room and thoroughly enjoyed an excellent choice of breakfast. The proprietors are a credit to Scottish hospitality. Queensberry House is only a short walk to the centre of Moffat and advice was received gratefully regarding what's... More

This is the 3rd time that we've been to Queensberry House, on the way back to Scotland from being on cruise & driving home from Southampton, and it hasn't changed. Denise & Paul always make you feel very welcome and look after you really well. The house is in a very quiet part of Moffat but it still only a... More

We stayed here for one night on our stop to the North of Scotland - and again on our return. Paul was an exceptional host, most helpful, very knowledgeable and such a lovely man - without being in the least intrusive. We had two different rooms, both spotless and such comfy beds. The breakfasts were amazing - thanks Paul, we... More

We have broken our journey to the Highlands many times at Queensberry House and so were welcomed back as old friends. Paul and Denise are marvellous hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble and who go out of their way to make their guests feel as though their warm and comfortable establishment is 'home from home'. A two-night stay,... More

Only stayed for one night due to travelling to Scotland. Greeted by our hosts with tea and shortbread. Really lovely hosts. B and B was spotlessly clean. Location was excellent 1 min walk into Moffatt. Breakfast was excellent and my wife says the best vegetarian breakfast she has eaten in a B and B. Well worth a visit

This is a delightful place to stay, with pleasant rooms and an excellent breakfast. Most importantly, the owners are extremely friendly and very helpful. It is handily placed an easy walk from Moffat, which is a pleasant small town in an area that merits more than a stopover en route to the Highlands.
