We arrived to a warm wlecome and the genuine hospitality lasted our entire stay. Very relaxed, friendly family with a beautiful "home". Sumptious bathrooms, spacious rooms and a lovely spot in the garden to read and drink gin and tonic. Christine and Stephen's breakfasts were generous and hearty. We stayed at Fludha for three nights in June 2009 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. our room was beutifully decorated, as was all the house. Lovely gardens and food of the highest standard, perfecly cooked. we would suggest that if you do stay here, and you should, then eat in the house. You will not find better in the area.... more
We spent three nights at the Fludha Guest House. Our room on the ground floor was spacious, and comfortable. The ensuite bathroom was great. Christine is a great cook, so we thoroughly enjoyed three days of breakfasts, also dinners!! Steve was a fount of knowledge of the local area, suggesting places we might visit. On our arrival, the lovely Christine was there to greet us, show us our room and tell us all about the B&B and surrounding area. She was more than helpful and made us feel very much at home. I have just recently visited Fludha House with my husband for a short break and we had an excellent time! We cannot praise The Fludha too highly. Christine and Steve were excellent hosts and looked after us throughout our 3 day stay most professionally.
