Only stayed at the hotel for 1 night, but found the staff very helpful and friendly. Our room was large and clean with plenty of storage, however the en-suite was pretty dirty. Not sure if it just hadn't been used for a while, but the sink was dirty as was the shower. Getting hot water was also a struggle and... More

We ordered food here a few weekends ago in October, we can not rate the food as it did not arrive. Unfortunately we were not alone in being unhappy with our service. Many unhappy people. We left two hours after ordering food for four, we asked several times but were given no explanation. We left with no apology and others... More

I am quite taken aback by some of the reviews I have just read. Having spent a couple of nights there last weekend I have nothing but praise for the high standard of service, accomodation and attention from staff. I have however heard the hotel has recently been taken over by new management which I was able to reap the... More

Don't go. Really poor. this place need some investment to drag itself into the 21st centuary. Food was disgusting. We had to eat in the bar which was like the wild west. I had to speak to one local "drunk foul mouthed guy" to ask him to stop swearing as my daughter and I were trying to eat our meal.... More

Several weeks ago, we booked three nights at this place. What a disappointment ! The first room was dingy, dull & uninspiring - but was informed that "it was usually only let to the workers". The next room on offer was truly filthy. Stained mismatched bed linen, dirty toilet, used tissues in bins. Gruesome bed cover/throw that was only fit... More

This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. The stair carpet was dirty and covered with dog hair. We were given the room key and on entering found dirty underwear on the floor, no towels and an unclean en-suite. When we complained we were given another room number but told to use the same key. We found a... More

I would struggle to come up with one positive comment about this hotel after staying there over the weekend. On arrival we were greeted by a mix up with our booking which had been made months ago, the room we had was awful, the door was filthy, the valance and headboard were dirty, only one cup between two, only one...
