Very clean and well equipped. Good-sized room with plenty of storage space. Comfortable beds. Wide choice at breakfast. Friendly and hospitable owners. Quiet location with off-road parking. Plus a fine view of the Dee from our window.

Easy to find just outside town but still only a ten min walk into the centre. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. My room was spotless and had everything you could wish for including a TV with a built in DVD player which would be great If you've got kids in tow ,additionally my room had a great view... More

Hard to fault, great room, spotless and well equipped, generous size, enormous bed .Quiet location but easy walk into town. Very good breakfast, though we only tried the veggie bits... lots of choice and cooked to order. Host was welcoming and attentive. Good selection of games, books and DVDs.

After 2 nights of being beaten about by wind and rain in our tent we were in desperate need of a peaceful nights sleep and Dee View B&B came up trumps. A warm welcome, tea and home made biscuits, a very spacious family room, and The Simpsons DVD from the library for entertainment! The breakfast was outstanding. If we are... More

A comfy and welcoming stay. Bouncy beds and wonderful home-cooked breakfast - the potato scones were a revelation! Located in a quiet area not far from the town centre. Bedroom was big, well appointed and clean. Host was chatty and eager to oblige. Highly recommended.

3 of us (double & single room) stayed for 3 nights in early April and the weather in Kirkcudbright was georgeous especially so early on in the year. What a brilliant place this is, about 15 minute brisk walk to the harbour with lovely views of the Dee from the double rooms (hence the name). Ian was an excellent host... More
