As we were driving from Glasgow to Exeter in Devon, we decided we would stop off a hotel near the border to England. Days Inn Gretna green just happened to be at the services that we found. We arrived at 10pm to a well lit hotel, and a friendly receptionist. After agreeing to pay £55 a room for two rooms,... more

Friendly staff, located on a motorway service station. Rooms are clean and ideal for an overnight stay. Rooms are all in the process of being refurbished when complete hotel will be great! more

Used accom as a stopover en route to Lancashire. Pets welcome free of charge in standard room. Generous sized room. King size bed and the additional bed converts into a double bed as well. Very clean. No noise. Excellent pillows and comfy bed. Efficient friendly check in. Good location well sign posted off the motorway. Would recommend & stay again. more

I booked a twin room but was given a double, this was quickly changed by the helpful check-in clerk. Light sleepers might be able to hear the traffic on the motor-way, I used ear plugs and it was OK. The only food is in the motorway service area, this was grim, pricey. and very little choice after 7pm. I would... more

We stayed in a executive room which was suppose to have a superior kingsize bed and a welcome pack. The bed was a standard size king and not very comfortable the welcome pack was a twix and a small bottle of water. Not worth the upgrade. The room was clean and quiet. We had to ask for extra towels as... more

We stayed here for one night on our way to Scotland. The double room was £59.95 and was perfectly clean. The bed was very comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was clean and had a good shower, although complementary toiletries would have been nice - multi-purpose soap/shampoo/shower gel is not very nice, and it was in a horrible dispenser. The staff were... more

I have found the Days Inn to be a convenient place to stop over night when travelling from my home in Scotland to English destinations. It is clean and relatively cheap (£50 pn for two of us) - particularly if you book thro the the daysinn.co.uk website. We eat at one or other of the hotels in the Gretna area... more

We stayed here on the Thursday before the Easter bank holiday as a "pit stop" before carrying on up to the Scottish Highlands and were really pleased with what we found! The hotel itself is easy to find (well sign posted from the motorway) and the reception desk is manned 24 hours. We arrived at about 2am (having driven from... more
