Stayed in February, cold and snowy weather but nice and warm in the Bobbin. Very friendly service, great breakfast. Nice room with good bathroom. Even my dog was made welcome! Nice, unfussy place to stay.

I stayed for three nights and was made so welcome and fed so well I didnt eat for the rest of the day. My nervous dog was welcome and with walks starting behind the guest house he and I could take a quick constitutional before breakfast.I would definitely go back again.

Great stay - my first time in Scotland made memorable by having a very comfortable stay. Helen was very friendly and the breakfast was great..... Nice having off road parking. Lovely little town with just enough to do on a cold, wet rainy evening.

My husband and I stayed here for one night in September and enjoyed it so much that we are now looking for another excuse to visit (our last was to meet our new puppy)! The most enjoyable part of the stay was the breakfast and entertainment provided by the owners' daughter! A lovely, genuine family who really wanted their guests... More

We stayed here one night after a wedding. Very friendly clean and excellent breakfast. Has off-street parking which was great as street was very busy and we would have had to park well away. Would definitely recommend.

We made a last minute booking via the Information Centre in Kirkcudbright as the caravan we were staying in was unsuitable for us. Helen and her husband were so welcoming and provided us with a large family room on the top floor which had a private bathroom and stairgate so we felt private and our toddler was safe on the... This is a small B&B on the main street of Gatehouse of Fleet, which we booked for an overnight en route from Dunure (Ayr) to Lanercost (Cumbria). Our room was pleasant and comfortable, the breakfast was substantial and delicious, and Helen, the owner, helpfulness itself, recommending a local hostelry for dinner. Plenty of available on-street parking outside.. Free WiFi in... More

If you are undecided about where to stay in Gatehouse of Fleet, stop pondering and book into the Bobbin immediately! I visited with my partner and dog (at no extra charge!) for three nights, and we couldn't have had a better stay. The room was spacious and well-furnished with plenty of storage, and a large en-suite with bath. It was... More

We needed a one night stay night while visiting relatives in Gatehouse of Fleet, somewhere we could also take our big Geman Shepherd dog. Before we arrived we were a little anxious as our dog had never stayed in a B&B before, we needn't have worried as we were all made to feel completely at ease, Helen and family are... More
