Enjoyed a lovely midweek meal during the Easter break. Haven't eaten here before and was very pleasantly surprised. The Bank of Fleet has an excellent menu offering pub grub. The food was lovely and the portions were very generous. The prices were very reasonable. The staff were friendly and the surroundings clean. Not fancy cuisine but if you are looking... More

It is over a year and a half since we last reviewed the restaurant in the Bank of Fleet Hotel. We have continued to visit this establishment whenever we are in Gatehouse. The food remains first class for value-for-money fayre. The service is excellent, friendly and efficient. The staff of the Bank of Fleet continued on make it a delight... More

Been here a few times lately and have to say it has been great value every time, every time all members of our party have enjoyed a great meal and never left feeling hungry as the portion size is exceptional and very reasonably priced, definately worth a visit.

My husband and I visited here as a last minute decision & we were delighted. The food was really tasty, varied menu, traditional and quirky options. The portions were very generous and prices extremely good value. We had 3 courses and drinks for under £45 FOR BOTH OF US!! Great chef and staff.

This was our first visit to the area and we were not sure which inns/pubs allowed dogs in the bar - we were advised that there was only one bar in the area and that was the Bank of Fleet hotel. When we arrived in the bar area of the Bank of Fleet it was SO busy - the bar... More

Hospitality above and beyond expectations. Proprietor is a welcoming host, she even drove me 10 miles to a festival and brought me back then sat and chatted with me in the bar - appreciated as I was a lone guest. Room spotless and great value for money.

Never stayed in hotel, however had a very enjoyable lunch. Portion size was huge and fantastic value for money. Staff very friendly. If in the area, would recommend a visit here for some good hearty food.

We spent a couple of hours here one evening. We had tried to get a seat to have a meal the night before but they were fully booked which was a good sign but unfortunate for us. Very friendly and welcoming.

This is another visit to to the Bank as I usually call it is the same as my last review as usual the staff are the same one big happy family. Meals were very good and I advise their three day break as it gives you the chance to explore the area
