Arriving weary, tired and hungry, Robertson welcomed us to his wonderful establishment and showed us to our beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable room. Once we'd freshened up, he gave us directions to several fabulous local eateries, which were easy to locate and truly magificent fare was devoured.

Our so called family suite could´nt be locked. The rooms werenot very clean.Dumfries itself is in deed a very boring place to be, so we´ll never be back.The breakfast was o.k.

reported to tripadvisor as a false review. Either this is a friend of a competitor or a review for some other B&B. These people never stayed in our house. We have registration information on all our guests- we know this is fake.

Ferintosh Guest House is comfortably near the town centre and the railway station. We had a double bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed: bathrobes, Q-tips - even "whisky of the day"(this nice detail really melted my heart!)
Breakfast was very tasty (I recommend haggis) and we had a nice chat with the owners....
