Well maintained period property. Room 5 had a lovely view over the front, snow covered lawn. Bed was a four poster and a bit creaky. The house is well maintained with a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast is very good and well prepared. All staff were friendly. Lovely Italian Restaurant within a five minute walk. All in all a great place... More

We stayed in this B&B for just over a week whilst work was being done on our house (we are local). The B&B itself is a lovely old building, the rooms are nicely decorated and spacious enough. There is ample parking at the back of the building. The only downsides we thought were that the breakfast could have been better... More

Stopped for one night as had a friends child christening. Went in and we were to select what wanted for breakfast in morning. I nearly selected everything haha. Room was designed as old fashioned as per building as was built in 1924. But same time was really comfortable. Breakfast was brilliant freshly made to order. Checkout was efficient. Was even... we booked at last minute due to ferry issues. Bruce was so helpful. the whole experience was first class, from arriving very late [11.00pm] to breakfast. our room had very thing we needed the bed was so comfortable. 10/10 for breakfast. if we are up in Scotland again this is defiantly on our list of places to stay.

We stayed here for one night on the way up the West Coast of Scotland. I have given 5 stars based on the overall experience for the price that we paid which was £49 B&B on a Saturday night. The room itself was full of character, spacious with a very comfy king sized bed. The bathroom was private but separate... More

Terrible nights sleep...mattress old and worn...room constantly boiling...bathroom across the hallway opposite the front entrance, not a great experience at all. Prices differed from booking . Com by £10 but staff resolved promptly .. Breakfast small but lovely and fresh....staff polite....apart from the bedroom, bathroom n breakfast room, nowhere else to go....looked untidy everywhere else, got a sneak peek at... More

We really enjoyed our stay in Room 5 with its four poster bed. Very, very happy with everything...lovely linens, nice decor and a lovely breakfast. We were made to feel very welcome and will definitely return. Also happy to recommend Casa Mia which is just a 10 minute walk away for a delightful meal. (We had the steaks)

Nice big room but quite dark decor. The bathroom had nowhere to lay toiletries etc. on returning mid afternoon on a coldish day the room was quite cold but we had no heating till later on. Having stayed in a few different B & Bs recently this was good but not the best. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order but... More

Truly brilliant service from start to finish! Comfy beds, excellent breakfast and outstanding value for money. Would definitely visit this place again. We had the room with the four poster bed in and it was a pleasure to stay in
