Stayed in numerous locations on business trip around Scotland with my adult son last year and wanted to leave a review as this was the best in terms of room quality and value for money. Lovely, large twin room with second bathroom and dressing room at no extra cost. Clean, nicely decorated, comfortable and quiet, delicious breakfast and very friendly... More

We were made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived. The rooms were clean and comfortable and all your needs anticipated. Even a plug at the dressing table for hair dryer etc! Terry and Lynne were most helpful with recommendations and making bookings for places to eat. Also with advice on places to visit. Breakfast freshly cooked and a... More

Just stayed two nights in this wonderful hotel. Terry and Lynne work very hard to ensure that their guests are properly looked after. Service, comfort, cleanliness and facilities are excellent, with delicious breakfasts to start the day. Thoroughly recommend HHH as a place to stay, and I look forward to staying again next year. Thank you for your hospitality.

We stayed here on our way back from the Commonweath Games for 3 nights. Firstly it is very impressive as you arrive in the grounds of the hotel. A huge car park is provided & there is a delightful outside seating area which is very tastefully presented. We were afforded a fantastic welcome from Terry & Lynne who showed us... More

Really comfortable friendly place. Terry was always there to recommend places to see, drink and eat. He even drew up a route for our journey up to Oban so that we could avoid the crowds going to the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

I stayed at the HHH whilst in Dumfries for a friend’s wedding. The hotel is ideally located for the train station and just a short walk into the town centre. The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the owners were welcoming and helpful – even offering us some help to avoid the midges given the wedding... More

The hotel is located about 10-15 min walking distance from the town center. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and were shown to our room (second floor, no elevator, but not n issue at all). The room was spacious, very clean, comfortable bed, clean bathroom with nice toiletries. Free internet throughout the facility. Breakfast was great, fresh food with... More
