My girls & I had a gr8 night out in this town. We stayed @ this hotel & it was well good, clean and all, though we did xpect a bit more for the price. Dumfries has some tight pubs and we danced late @ a club called Jumpingjacks. more

A very warm welcome from the owners, who are also bikers. A great Hotel, lovely rooms and facility's. Great breakfasts. Secure off road parking. Plenty of places to eat and drink in the near vicinity. We will return again, without a doubt. more

I chose it based on previous reviews here, as well as the need to take an early train from the nearby station. I'm happy to say that I had a very pleasant stay: the owners were friendly and informative; the room was comfortable; and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. I would definitely return. more

I were in the area for work. Had a nice stay at this hotel. Good room and a freindy couple there. It were a bit of a walk to town but not bad. The hotel bar were nice but empty. more

The second we have stayed at Huntingdon House and Terry treated us like old friends ... come to think of it he did that on the first stay too !
