My wife and I took a 3-week trip around southern Scotland, and our stay in Dumfries at The Rondo Guest House was by far the most welcoming and comfortable. Our host, Colin, was very friendly and approachable and had all sort of suggestions for places to go and things to do while visiting. The room was spacious and clean, and... more

Have stayed in this bed and breakfast a couple of nights a week for the last few months. I stayed in different b & bs in Dumfries before I was recommended this one and the Rondo was by far the best. The family that run the place could not be more friendly and accomodating and everything about the accomodation is... more

Had a two night stay at this B&B. Colin Green and his family could not have been more helpful and welcoming. We were given key to front door and could come and go as we pleased. The house is lovely and old with high ceilings, lots of character. The beds and furnishings are modern and simple, lovely crisp clean bedding.... more

Stayed her for 6 weeks while working in the area. Very central location with parking outside. Spotlessly clean, well decorated, nice and warm with an excellent breakfast. Very friendly, Colin couldn't have been more helpful and i would definitely stay again if working in the area. more

We stayed here for one night as a via point on the way up to Stranraer to catch the ferry to Ireland. It was easy to find and there was free on-street parking outside the front door. You do need to get a parking permit from the B&B though this is very easy to do! Colin and his family were... more

One night stay: late arrival and early departure so didn't see too much of the hotel. What we did get was a friendly and warm welcome, a clean room, an acceptable breakfast, a decent night's sleep and a good impression of a reasonably-priced B&B. more

Spotlessly clean, comfortable accommodation. The young couple who run this guest house are very friendly and welcoming. We have stayed here several times and it will be our first choice in this area in the future. No end of trouble taken to meet our needs: double room let at single rate, vegetarian food supplied, VHS player brought to our room(DVD... more
