Booked this travelodge at short notice as we had to attend a funeral the next day.We arrived later than planned as we found the place difficult to find. The room was warm and comfortable, with plenty of tea/coffee. We ate at a restaurant which was about 2/3 miles away. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean there was a... More

This hotel is modern and clean and is perfect for the low price we paid on an unscheduled stopover as our ferry to Belfast was cancelled due to the weather. The welcoming receptionist and even small things like a basket with extra tea, coffee. milk and sugar sitting on the reception was a small but welcome touch. Definitely recommend this... More

Stayed here on the way to and back from Cairnryan ferry to Belfast. Good room rates made this an ideal location and break on our long drive to and from Scotland. Rooms exactly as expected, comfortable, with tea and coffee and great showers. Reception welcome made the difference all the staff were friendly and chatty, so would stay again on a... More

A revamped travel lodge very near to the motorways north and south for connections A very welcoming and friendly receptionist booked us in. The nearby restaurant called the "Curly Coo" was shut for night time but there is a nearby "other" chain which is reasonable for meals All in all a good night's sleep with no nearby traffic noise and... Stayed at this Travelodge over the Christmas holiday as visiting relatives. Our party consisted of 3 adults 2 children and a baby. Don't get me wrong we knew that it wasn't going to be the Ritz or anything but did think that the rooms would be cleaned daily but the room with the children and mother in was not on... More

We were visiting family nearby for Christmas and we stayed for 3 nights from the 24th-27th (room only as we were eating with family). There was no maid service on Xmas day but you could help yourself to coffee, tea and milk from reception but at £33 per night we are not complaining.Maid service resumed on Boxing Day. We took... We had a wonderful surprise when we stayed there yesterday. The whole building has been refurbished top to bottom and is really clean. The room was lovely and the staff were first class. There is a new small restaurant in the same area, and we had a lovely breakfast before setting off home. Well done to both places....

Very comfortable and spacious room - had a good nights sleep in a comfortable warm bed with nice crisp fresh sheets. No problems asking for extra tea bags/hairdryer and staff very pleasant, friendly and efficient. A bath mat and extra blanket would be welcome - otherwise can't fault it.
