Great price as usual, staff really friendly and room was tidy, bed was really comfy.Saying that had travelled 250mls so our son could attend his University interview so would have slept like a log anyway.10mins and you are into Dumfries town centre.Son needed to iron his shirt and we had access to an ironingboard and iron.

We stayed here on a trip to Scotland. Just a night in a family room. It was clean, and adequate for our needs and very good value. The receptionist was very friendly and made the hotel. Not sure of her name, but well done!

Myself and my 17 year old daughter had to travel from Glasgow to Dumfries for her University interview. We were very unsure what to expect from Travelodge as we had never used them before. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was a lot larger than we had expected. The bed was so very comfortable with fresh clean sheets and duvet.... More

Booked in her for the one night while passing through Dumfries recently. We got a great price and benefited from a discount code online as well. Room was clean, standard for a budget hotel and staff were pleasant. The car park could do with some additional lighting as when we took a walk down to the restaurant down the road... More

Stopped over 2 nights on way to Edinburgh. Lovely welcome, all staff are great. The room was comfortable and spotless. Roadside room. No noise, however in summer when window open, I would prefer a rear room as am a light sleeper. Unlimited supply of tea/coffee available at reception. 20mins to Gretna and 2 miles out of Dumfries. Best travel lodge... More

Booked this travelodge at short notice as we had to attend a funeral the next day.We arrived later than planned as we found the place difficult to find. The room was warm and comfortable, with plenty of tea/coffee. We ate at a restaurant which was about 2/3 miles away. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean there was a... More

This hotel is modern and clean and is perfect for the low price we paid on an unscheduled stopover as our ferry to Belfast was cancelled due to the weather. The welcoming receptionist and even small things like a basket with extra tea, coffee. milk and sugar sitting on the reception was a small but welcome touch. Definitely recommend this... More

Stayed here on the way to and back from Cairnryan ferry to Belfast. Good room rates made this an ideal location and break on our long drive to and from Scotland. Rooms exactly as expected, comfortable, with tea and coffee and great showers. Reception welcome made the difference all the staff were friendly and chatty, so would stay again on a... More

A revamped travel lodge very near to the motorways north and south for connections A very welcoming and friendly receptionist booked us in. The nearby restaurant called the "Curly Coo" was shut for night time but there is a nearby "other" chain which is reasonable for meals All in all a good night's sleep with no nearby traffic noise and...
