Me and my fiancé stayed here for two nights whilst attending a wedding over the Easter weekend. Everything was absolutely perfect. The room, location, service and especially the breakfast were fantastic. A real credit to the owners. Will definitely be stopping there again if we are ever in the area.

This place is just lovely - the original features in the room were stunning (we stayed in the family room) and couldn't believe the size of the room for the price! Massive and powerful shower, very comfortable beds, and the couple running it were welcoming. Definitely recommended.

Stayed 2 nights in Room #1, lovely room, very clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast. While we were in Dumfries we went to the Garden of Cosmic Speculation and the Kagyu Samye Ling Tibetan Buddhist Centre at Eskdalemuir.
