6 mountain bikers at the end of a tough week and this was a great place to stay. A little remote but easily accessible to several medium sized towns, the rooms were very comfortable with a small but functional ensuite and comfy beds. The highlight was a great farmhouse breakfast served by a delightful lady with coffee on tap. Very... More

Stayed with a couple of mates whilst on a mountain biking 3 day break in the area. Perfect location for the 7 Stanes trails. Plucked this place off the net as our normal venue was full & it turned out to be a real gem. We stayed in one of the cabins which was spacious, warm & well furnished. The... More

Stayed here on three occasions whist riding the 7 Stanes trails. Always had a warm welcome and found the accommodation to be clean. A drying room is available foc and the breakfast alone is worth the the room rate. Centrally located for Ae, Mabie, Dalbeattie and probably the trail centre in the UK Kirroughtree. Exceptional value for money.

We booked three rooms for two nights (July 14th/15th) in January and even paid a deposit of £100. On our arrival at 5pm having done a 350 mile journey we were told we were not booked in and there were no rooms available for that night. Having shown her the e-mail confirmation we had received from her she said we... More
