The building and grounds are very charming. The dining area is gorgeous with big windows and light pouring in (on a sunny day). Our host, Colin, was very helpful... More

We (a grandmother, two parents, a teenager and a child) stayed here while delving into a bit of family history in the area. Friendly and helpful people, great breakfast, comfortable rooms. Recommended!

Comfortble room with view of the church across the road. Really ample tea and coffeemaking facilities with a chocolate replaced daily. A nice touch. There is a generosity to the place reflected in the breakfast menu which you choose the night before. Very convenient for getting out and about to the surrounding countryside which was important. Bus timetables can be... More

Stayed here as a overnight halt whilst driving back from Edinburgh to West Dorset, was greeted by Colin who is very friendly and made me feel very welcome. My room was of a good size and the bed was comfortable, good location close to the centre of town. I got a good nights rest and free wireless internet which worked... More
