Had a great peaceful 3 night stay, garden and house superbly comfortable,definately recharged our batteries, both mentally and physically as full time carers this was a rare occurrence,so hence it was very much appreciated, Host, food, accommadation were all faultless. THANKYOU!

My wife and I stayed at the Firs for four nights in August 2010. The house is very impressive and imaculate throughout with extensive well kept grounds. It is also very quiet and secluded.Our room was a double ensuite and was very large and spacious, tea, coffee fresh milk and bIscuits were provided each day, a decanter of sherry and... More

We stayed at the Firs for two nights to attend a family wedding. This victorian house is beautifully set in mature gardens. The large room and bathroom were both very well furnished and full of lovely touches such as a small decanter of sherry with two glasses on arrival, fresh coffee and bath robes. Breakfast excellent.
