I booked way in advance for my clan reunion near Selkirk, not knowing it was a harrowing drive if only 20 miles. Visited as part of large group so meals were in a separate room but were very good quality. Nice staff very friendly and management went out of their way to meet the groups needs which on one evening meant delaying dinner until 09:30 but even that did not phase them in any way. Arrived without previous arrangement. Friendly staff. Room spacious with bath and shower. Food was excellent----both dinner and breakfast , with plenty of choice and nicely presented. Although we did not have time to try them out, there were lots of facilities from golf to outdoor pursuits. more
