The room was was really nice and the en suite was pretty incredible. Had a delicious breakfast, and felt really welcomed. Really close to Glentress for MTB and also about a 10 minute drive to Innerleithen SDA race site.

Alasdair and Pauline are great hosts, running a very clean, comfortable and beautifully located B&B in a Mountain biking paradise. I researched online and booked our stay at Craiguart via email from Australia, Alasdair was quick to reply and answered any questions I had in regards to their setup for bikes. The B&B is located very close to Glentress and... More

This is the 3rd time we have been here and always a friendly welcome, always a great breakfast! And a good nights sleep. We come here as it was recommend to us and tbh can't fault the stay, the rooms are clean tidy and well looked after, the views are stunning, and just a stones throw to glentress for our... More

We stayed at Craigurt for 2 nights whilst we biked at Innerleithen and Glentress. It was brill. Perfect location, brilliant set up (jet wash, bike storage and stand) and the best full Scottish breakfasts. Alasdair and Pauline were great hosts. They are fully prepared for muddy bikers and pointed us in the right direction for meals out (great reccomendations, thanks!).

My husband and I stayed here for two nights August bank holiday weekend and we could not fault it at all. Excellent location for Glentress Forest which was our reason for the cycle trip. Alastair and Pauline looked after us just great. The place is spotlessly clean, our room was very spacious with lovely fluffy towels and toiletries and the... More

Booked a one night stay for 5 mountain bikers at relatively short notice. Rooms were spotlessly clean, fantastic shower, and the breakfast was spot on! The veranda is perfect for apre ride drinks if the weather allows. Glentress is a 5 minute spin up the road as is Bony's steakhouse which is where we ate (bit pricy but outstanding steaks!).... I hesitate to write negative reviews, so will start with the positives. My husband and I stayed one night on 22nd July, while cycling from Newcastle to Edinburgh. The room was very comfortable, lovely view, and very clean. Breakfast next morning was mixed. My husband enjoyed his haddock and poached eggs, but my smoked salmon with scrambled eggs was a... More

Two nights staying here in an ideal place near to Glentress and easy ride to Innerleithen. Alastair looked after us very well, with superb breakfasts. Easy to come and go at different times, spacious room, decking and lounge for watching the Tour de France. Oh and great bike storage and cleaning facilities. Excellent all round. Many thanks Alastair.

Just returned again from a wonderful weekend, there were 8 of us so we took over the place, and as usual Alisdair and Pauline provided a fantastic high standard room. Full Scottish breakfasts which were huge and plentiful and we had the lounge to ourselves in the evenings with Sky TV and Wifi. Teak the Labrador was enjoying the fussing... More

Breakfast choice is extensive and best quality products, e.g. Golden yolk free range eggs, lovely lean bacon. Porridge was not offered as a breakfast choice ( which I found strange for a... More
