This is my go-to spot when mountain biking in Scotland near Peebles. The rooms are very nice, breakfast is excellent, and Jan has everything you need to take care of your biking related needs including good bike storage and facilities to help clean and get your kit ready for your next day's biking adventure.

Thank you so much for your much appreciated report. We try our best to have our guests needs in place to make the holiday a good one. Mountain bikers are a large part of our trade in Peebles and we all want to encourage repeat visits to the area. We have also this year put in place a gear drying... More

We had a wonderful stay. We had the double and our two boys shared the twin. Had the place to ourselves and Jan made us a lovely fire in the lounge to sit in front of for the evening. Excellent breakfast after a good night's sleep. Thoroughly recommended.

We spent four very comfortable nights in this delightful B&B. We were welcomed by a very genial hostess, Jan, for whom nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast provided a great selection and was very generous. As tourists to the region, Jan was a great help with recommendations for meals,... More

Stayed two nights in the B&B to take part in a cycle sportive starting nearby. The house is beautiful and the room spotless. Most important for us is is secure bike storage, easy parking, animal free rooms, a really good shower and a comfortable bed. Winkston Farm ticked all these boxes. It is about 15-20 mins walk into Peebles for... More

We had the most wonderful and enjoyable stay at this excellent B&B. I don't think I have ever been made to feel so welcome when staying away. When I arrived on the bus from Edinburgh to stay for a couple of days researching my family tree in the Peebles area, Jan couldn't have been more helpful. She certainly went the... More

This is a 4* B&B home from home. Beautifully decorated and furnished with every little detail looked after. We only spent one night so had to explore Peebles in the evening after our visit in the daytime to Dawyck Botanical Gardens. We easily walked into Peebles town centre in 15mins for a look around and a good curry at the... More

This B&B is about a mile out of Peebles set high off the road on a working farm. Run by Janice a wonderful host who makes a great breakfast. Rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated, had the best nights sleep since we arrived in Scotland

My husband and I stayed here for four nights on the way to Fort William. The room we stayed in wasn't massive but was perfectly laid out, plenty of room for all our normal and mtb clothes! The cooked breakfast was lovely and had good choice of cereals. Janice and her husband were extremely welcoming and friendly throughout our stay,... More

We were taking part in the annual car hill trial at Biggar and decided to stay at Peebles as it's a great town with good access to Edinburgh and lovely surrounding countryside: there's a bus on the main road just 100 yards away from the house, so you can hop on that and be in Edinburgh in a hour, with... Amazing views all round. The owners have provided a beautiful and peaceful home from home. Everything is top quality. The breakfast was so tasty. I ate way more than I needed! I wish I could cook sausage and bacon so that it was both juicy and slightly crispy. Superb. The rating is well deserved. Excellent value for money. I would... More
