We read a few reviews and admittedly were a little worried over about 5 bad reviews so decided not to have any expectations. Well whoever did those bad reviews were I believe isolated cases. From start to finish everything was done for us and very organised (in a good way) We couldnt fault the long coach journey, the drivers, service... More

the hotel was what I would class as basic, a bit grubby in places, but the food was adequate for the price paid. The waiting staff were very pleasant but the same was not to be said for reception who seemed to want to deal with you as quick as possible and on one occasion sat there on the computer... More

Great hotel, clean, comfortable and warm. The staff are friendly and do everything for you. Great location either beautiful surroundings. Bar drinks are a little over priced but it is a hotel so what do you expect. We be back sometime soon.

We received this coach holiday for a gift and all I can say is poor poor poor! Expensive drinks ,dirty hotel lousy waiter service and everyone had diarrhoea and vomiting so made it really unpleasant. The only joy was the night porter ( what a gem) apart from that will never return again!!!!'

We stayed with friends in adjoining rooms from the 19th to the 22nd of April, 2013. Our room was clean and comfortable although it does need updating. Our friends room was one that had just been updated and it was lovely. The food was good and the waiter "Jorge" was excellent. Always a welcoming smile. The entertainment was very good... More

We were based here for a 4 night Shearings Coach holiday. After reading other reviews we decided to upgrade our room. This was clean, well equipped with an excellent bathroom. There were two electric heaters provided in addition to the radiators, and these were really needed. We picked a really cold, wet and windy week to visit. The food was... More

We had 2 lovely newly furbished rooms, which were very clean, warm and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and polite. The 3 course evening meal was excellent value for money, and very satisfying! James, the resident entertainer, kept his guests entertained, firstly with bingo, then with his wonderful singing, belting out all the oldies and encouraging audience participation! We thoroughly enjoyed our one... More
