Very nice hotel to stay at. We got an affordable rate of a particular date. Curtains of the bedroom doesnot revent from daylight this is not admissible from such an hotel. Wifi available only from the lobby and the bar which is a little bit cheap for such a high rated hotel. The swimming pool is heated but inside the... More

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for your kind words. I picked up your comment regarding lighting from your comment card which you left and we are making the necessary adjustments. I would highlight to all readers that free wifi was installed at the beginning of May. This free wireless now covers all areas of the Hotel including bedrooms and public areas.... More

We stayed at Dryburgh Abbey Hotel at the beginning of March. After a week of visiting family it was a romantic retreat booked by my partner to give us a night of peace and relaxation. We weren't disappointed. The staff were helpful, but not in your face. The room was huge, very clean and although a little old fashioned it... More

Stayed earlier in the month for a family reunion. The rooms were ready upon our arrival at 1pm. Reception staff very attentive and caring. Rooms very spacious and well serviced. Housekeeping staff obviously well trained in cleanliness standards as everything spic and span. The rooms themselves may be a bit dated in decor, but their functionality far outweigh the negatives.... More

This is the second time that I have stayed here, the first was last year for my sons wedding and too much drink was taken onboard to fully appreciate the stay........ This time I was here on business and feel able to comment from this perspective. Stayed in the 'Thunder & Lighting' double room which was pre-booked. A delightful large... More

Have been here once before and had a fantastic meal. Came back with my family for Dads 65th birthday. Not disappointed. 5 courses for £35 and some great wine from an extensive list. Well done, keep it up, we will be back for more!

We went as part of a large party of 28 for the weekend. We were all on a DBB deal. The bedrooms were a good size and the large bed was really comfy but the decor was dated and the shower had little pressure. We ate in the private dinning room each night which was very elegant. The menu was... More

We stayed at this hotel on the way home from a dog show in Blackppol. It is a lovely dog friendly hotel with beautiful surroundings and very attentive staff. The bedrooms are a wee bit tired and could do with a freshen up but it was very reasonable for the price. The food at the Dryburgh Abbey Hotel is lovely... More

I had the good fortune to stay at this hotel on a recent busness trip, which is perfectly situated for a very peaceful stay. There is a choice of food in the bar or restaurant where I was introduced to the splendid selection of fine ales from the Broughton Brewery. The breakfast is a very relaxed start to the day,... More
