We stayed here a few days ago and were so happy with our experience. The warm welcome from the hosts was wonderful - even accommodating an earlier check in time for us.The room was spacious and comfortable and the beds were really comfy. The full Scottish breakfast was a joy to eat - my husband ( a Scot) loved the haggis!I can't... My stay in Melrose in February was massively enhanced by the warm welcome and friendly professional service I received at this B&B. My bed was so comfy and the breakfasts were delicious. Extremely well priced for a good sized room and well equipped bathroom. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone.

Stay here regularly. Location is beautiful as are the rooms and the breakfast which is first class. Would definitely recommend and am looking forward to returning again next year. The owners are a lovely couple, very friendly and make you feel very welcome.

Lovely little town with this B&B right in the centre. Very friendly welcome, great breakfast with plenty to choose from and even vegetarian sausages available for us which was brilliant! We were in a good sized twin room with an nice clean en-suit bathroom. When we had trouble accessing the wi-fi the owners were very helpful. Great price for what... More

Extremely comfortable BnB with fantastic location close to the Abbey and High Street. Breakfast was superb and our hosts were very friendly and informative (Even gave us the weather forecast before our walk :-) Highly recommended!

Take some time to enjoy a superb small town in the border country of Scotland and base yourself at Braidwood B&B in Melrose . Mike and Helen host a lovely spot to rest after exploring this scenic area and they can recommend great dining, too.

After trying several other hotels we finally came upon Braidwood. Would definitely recommend a stay here. We did not manage to get an en suite bedroom as they were all taken, but our room was lovely and comfortable with a private bathroom. Breakfast was most enjoyable, cereal, yogurts, fruit, toast and fresh juice then a full cooked breakfast it was... More

Chosen as somewhere to stay for two nights, whilst in the town to watch rugby. Wonderful barely gets close to describing Braidwood, considering that it sits close to the village centre there was not much to disturb even the lightest of sleeper. The room was comfortable with a lovely comfortable bed, small but functional shower room. Room could do with... More

We stayed here for one night after completing St. Cuthbert's Way in the "opposite" direction. After a 26K hike on a very hot day we were very happy to be welcomed to our clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was as expected - cereal and juice with 'the full Scottish" and variations thereof. All in all, a very pleasant stay.
