Really loved this place. The family were lovely, friendly and really helpful. The rooms are great for our purpose and had a comfy bed. The price was great too! Large fulling breakfast available also. Would have loved to stay longer and would definately stay here again if I came back and recommend to anybody!

Hotel basic but excellent value. Room was in main hotel and very quiet. All very clean and warm. Friendly, helpful owners. We found a good and safe place fo car and trailer and vintage motorcycles in the hotel car park.

Stayed on a recent business trip, in the annexe part of the hotel, literally after a long drive from Glasgow and finding this gem. Owner was very welcoming, charging a very reasonable rate for 2 rooms, which were well equiped - maybe a little dated but EXCELLENT VALUE. Location is excellent for the business traveller with a Wetherspoons right across... More

Hotel basic but excellent value. Room was across car-park from main hotel but this suited us better than staying in the main hotel. All very clean and warm. Friendly, helpful owners. Although it was just my wife and I who stayed on this occasion, we were pleased to see that breakfast in the dining room was very child friendly. We... More

This was our second visit in 8 months to this hotel in Hawick - we chose it because of its ground floor room for my Dad and also because an evening meal was available (open to non-residents too) in case we wanted to eat in any night. The rooms were comfortable, though basic, but it wasn't expensive to stay there.... More

This proprieter is totally unprofessional !!! We booked in for Friday 19th March 2010. We paid a £20.00 deposit by debit card to secure the room a fortnight in advance. Due to a sudden family bereavement on thurs 18th March 2010 we forgot to cancel the booking. He phoned us on the 19th at around 9pm and we apologized profusely... More

It was a fantastic stay. Everyone was so helpful and the standard of cleanliness was really high, with quick service. Breakfast was excellent as were the meals in the bar or restaurant area. Great place to go with lots to see and do. Hawick seems to have a lot more about it these days and the BeanScene Cafe is fantastic.... More
