We very much enjoyed out 1 night stay in the twin room. The room is bright, clean and uncluttered. The ensuite is bath/shower with quite a large set over height. Breakfast is made to order from the previous day and was delicious. The house is a short distance from the high street with plenty of shops etc. Norman and Ruth... More

Very friendly host. More than helpful. Very clean room. Modern ensuite. Parking on site. Stayed for one night on business. Very near town centre shops and just around the corner from weathspoons which is ideal for a meal and a beer. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed at this B&B some weeks back and it was probably the best place I've ever stayed at. The owners are very welcoming and the breakfasts are amazing. The whole house is really clean and you are looked after well. Highly recommended as the town of Hawick is great as well.

Because I'm rushing so much, I wanted to write this, as I arrive, because I'll be asleep soon. Basically Adrian met me at the door & explained that Helen & he were looking after the place whilst Ruth & Norman were away. It's the little things that makes a stay great for me & Adrian did just that. As a... More

We were a party of 6 cyclists. We only stayed one night but everything was perfect from the first conversation regarding booking throughout. The building is lovely, and the rooms were too, showers and beds were all good, and the breakfast excellent. The proprietors couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The location is bang in the town centre so... More

Located in the middle of Hawick (how do you pronounce that?) - this great b&b was bang on price, welcoming, modern (despite being nearly 200 years old), clean, warm and tasty. I was met by Ruth and shown to my room on the first floor up the charming wide spiral stairs. Room 4 over looked the narrow, but quiet access... More

What a lovely caring charming couple here at Brougham House, who welcome you as if you are one of their family. Room nicely decorated, clean as a whistle, and very comfy ! Nothing is too much trouble, and at price that is unbeatable for the class of B&B it is in Hawick. Breakfast scrummy, sausages are super, and Norman is... More

This is my second visit - and I will happily keep coming back. Ruth and Norman are lovely, welcoming hosts. My room was spotless, cosy and well-maintained, as were the bathroom facilities. Breakfast was delicious. And, on top of all that, the price was very reasonable, so the value for money was outstanding. I genuinely cannot think of a single... More

A first rate class was welcome by Norman who evidently enjoy giving their guest a good experience. The room was beautifully well furnished, decorated and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was impeccably scrumptious on the palate. It far reached my expectations. The area was of Hawick and surrounding areas was very knowledgeable by Norman who highly recommended the...
