Six adults and two kids stayed overnight, the welcome was great, three good sized rooms all on the same floor. Breakfast was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Great value for money!!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms clean, comfortable and well finished. Good shower in en suite. Poor wifi connection in basement rooms. Buffet of full Scottish breakfast was of a good quality. Will certainly stay again when next in Hawick.

Alan our host couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. He put us in room downstairs which was big enough for our needs and had a double and a single bed in it, a nice wee dressing table for me to use and the en suite was spacious, bright and clean - a minor problem with our shower was rectified... I am puzzled by the reviews of this guest house. Seems there are 2 standards, one upstairs and one downstairs. Ours, downstairs, while clean and warm, was way under normal standards. Window blind broken, bedside light almost impossible to get my hand in to turn on, towels ragged and old, no way to get kettle filled with water except by... More
