Stayed here for two nights with my family! Very strange place, a bit like faulty towers! The owners (adequately named the Adams' (family) made us feel quite awkward! There we're nice enough but just weird! The rooms we're just okay! Beds uncomfortable and rank tea and coffee! If you just want a bed for the night and are not bothered... More

Really very good value. This guest house is right in the centre of the town - Galashiels night life can be a bit 'lively' on a Saturday, but it calms down in reasonable time. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating - went to a lot of trouble to get our bikes into the back garden. The house is not... More

Morven Guest House is excellent value and an ideal base for exploring the Scottish Borders. However, constant rain deterred me from going far afield, as I don't drive. The comfortable spacious room was therefore a blessing, as I was able to stay indoors and get on with some writing. I'm surprised that one reviewer complains of a lack of sockets.... More

We stayed here for one night. Group of 12 doing the coast and castles bike ride. The guesthouse was ideal. Great central location and very friendly people.

Stayed here over easter weekend. It was surprising how big the room was we got, 3 double beds in it! made the atmosphere slightly unwelcoming, but i think the owners were trying to put us in the best room in the house which was very nice of them. The room which we had was very dated, not been decorated in... More

The owners were very nice and polite and... More
