My son and I spent the night at the AiryFairy, and would gladly do so again. It is situated in a beautiful location and the owner is a delight, as was the breakfast she prepared. Bill Vogt, North Carolina

Excellent hospitality, great homemade breakfast, lovely atmosphere. Clean, cosy and quiet.
What a lovely change from the big chains of international hotels. A great welcome and wonderful hospitality. The breakfasts were delicious and grilled not fried. A small establishment with only a couple of rooms set in an idyllic riverside location. If you require the facilities of a town Galashiels and Selkirk are only a few minutes away buy car. There...

We stayed one night whilst cycling Route 1 from Newcastle to Edinburgh. Monika and John's welcome could not be improved upon. The room was a haven, the breakfast the best of our trip, our hosts so hospitable and the local cycling also great. We could not recommend the Airy Fairy highly enough.

What a lovely place to stay! We were here a short time ago, and were made so welcome, and treated so well. Would love to come again sometime.
A lovely host and a lovely atmoshpere. She helps where she can and takes genuine interest in her guests. The only thing lacking was an en-suite bathroom.
Fantastic stay at this lovely two bedroom b&b on the southern upland way. The owner is friendly, the rooms warm and well maintained and the food lovely - especially the home made bread. She even caters for fussy vegetarians like me. Well worth a stop but book ahead as it is deservedly popular.
