We booked a double room here in June and on arrival were immediately upgraded to a Loch side apartment… no reason given. However the apartment was wonderful, clean and the views across the Loch were stunning. That im afraid is were the praise ends. I stayed here last night and can thoroughly recommend this lovely hotel. It is set on the banks of beautiful Loch Awe. The views over the loch to the mountains to the north are spectacular. Even with two children in high spirits (half term) nothing was too much trouble..... Its so unusual to see happy staff but here, they are fantstic...FUN.
