Arrived late off the ferry from Barra and were accorded a warm welcome, had a couple of drinks in the bar before retreating to our very nice room which as we found the next morning had a great view of the Marina. Good breakfast saw us continue our journey well fortified.

Stayed for 3 nights 8th till 11th September. Lovely spacious and clean room - number 6 - overlooking the marina, absolutely beautiful view. The beds were comfortable and we slept like logs. The owners were particularly lovely and caring. We arrived at the hotel straight from A & E in Fort William very late at night, my partner had a... More

Stayed 4 nights in September, given room 10. Lovely room, but the traffic noise was constant and the blinds over the numerous windows did not obliterate the morning light. There was no where to put/hang clothes in the bathroom, and when I mentioned this to the owner, she said this was easily sorted, but it wasn't. The 3 evening meals... More

Spent 3 nights here as part of tour in July. We were a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews - but in the event we were not disappointed. We had a room facing the marina - very clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Service was excellent and the food, particularly the seafood was good. Would stay here again... More

We popped in to see if they had a room available that we could also take our dog in with us. We were showing a room which was lovely modern and very clean. The hotel looks over the marina and is a beautiful setting for having lunch or a drink. Our dog was made very welcome and was allowed into... More

We had a nice room overlooking the Marina and asked for drinks to be served outside on the patio. We were told this was not possible and asked to pay for them and take them out by ourselvesWe had booked dinner and the same waitress served us. When we asked if we had to collect it by ourselves she refused... More

Arrived and was greeted well and shown to our rooms. The 4 rooms we booked were all OK 3 with views over the marina. Then came dinner. Waitress could not tell the difference between a scallop and a bowl of musles, she insisted that we were wrong and she was right. A starter of scallops and black pudding sounded nice.... More

A wooden hut in a carpark. Welcome to your room... Check-in is in the restaurant. That bit worked. Then you are shown the room. A modern key card hotel style door lock, is non functional. But the cheap Yale lock above it works, and is used instead. The door rattled in the wind - But can be wedged shut with... More

Arrived as a hotel guest, checked in and made a dinner reservation as they suggested. Staff were not particularly welcoming and, actually, seemed somehow weird. Turned up for dinner and was seated. After ordering an annoyed and frantic chef appeared and told us we had not booked a table and said there would be a delay with the food. We... More
