On reading some reviews we were bit aprehensive. However, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hotel needs updating but this is reflected in the price. Comfortable, clean, good breakfast and very friendly staff. Would go back again.

Stayed at this hotel from 18th to 20th May,the staff were kind and helpful and the room I had was extremely good for the price.In places the decor needed brought up to standard but the rooms were spotless and the food ok,what the hell do people want for £40 a night?

£40 a night, in the centre of Oban; you DO wonder what's wrong..... Run-down, shabby, not particularly clean public areas, says it all. Room was tiny but beds were clean, bathroom exceptionally small and worn looking. Didn't bother with breakfast, too scared!
