Really enjoyed the two days we stayed at the Regent Hotel in Oban so would definitely stay there again. It's not the Ritz but great value for money. Our room didn't have a great view, but we didn't go all that way to waste time in our room. Breakfast was lovely too, and we had a great nights sleep both... More

Stayed here late August for a long weekend. The hotel was as expected. The staff were absolutely wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The food was a good standard and good portions too! The view from the front of the hotel is stunning. Try getting a sea view room, well worth it! We will happily return here in the future

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights as part of a coach holiday. The first bedroom we were given was appalling with pealing paintwork and black mould. The second one was larger and somewhat better but far from satisfactory. Rooms at the back have no view, are noisy and tend to be in need of urgent refurbishment and updating. The... More

We thought we had a bargain here for £62 for two B and B, but met a couple who had 2 nights, dinner, B and B for £79 each ! So ask about offers. Hotel is a bit tired and in need of an upgrade, but has views to die for. Our room was at the back of course so... More

Excellent Service. Spotless. First class staff. Not very modern but the food more than makes up for that. Couldn't fault anything. We were there for a wedding which took place in the hotel. The bride, groom and guests all had a great time

Stayed one night at this sea front hotel two weeks ago me route to oban. At the third attempt finally got a room which was suitable. The first two were awful with the wallpaper hanging off. Was a good hotel in its day but really needs some money spent on it. On the plus side however - good location -... More

We stayed at this hotel after 4 days of camping and it surely felt good. It's a bit old and the bathrooms are small, but it has everything to make you feel comfortable for a night. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is quite good. Also the location is very good (next to the sea, center, next to tourist... More

Our fourth visit to the Regent was this month. The reason we keep coming back? It's cheap. The bedrooms are a bit hit and miss. This time both couples had super big rooms with a cracking view over Oban Bay. When the weather is good the view is stunning. On previous visits however we have had pokey back rooms with... More
