Visited this hotel on several occasions with our small yorkshire terrier called dougal who was a hit with the staff and visitors. Nothing is any trouble in this hotel staff always pleasent and friendly. The six taster dinner menu is a great idea something a little different. Hot tub outside is another favourite of ours no matter what the weather... More

I was given a Virgin Voucher for this hotel and decided to book an additional 2 nights as part of a longer Scottish touring holiday. The hotel looks very fairly impressive with a lovely lobby, bar and sea facing sunroom all done in a modern yet traditional Scottish style. The rooms are small with minimal space for two people's toiletries... More

I stayed here with friend for 2 nights there is a nice lunge bar at the front which overlooks the bay. My room was disappointing having paid the single supplement it was very small and in need of a little TLC. The food was ok but there are lots of good restaurants in the town as well specialising in fish... More

On visiting Oban on a lovely weekend I was very disappointed with this Accommodation. On arriving They have very limited car spaces.Understandable! but Two of there spaces marked out are right at the entrance meaning no room to get in with cases etc.First impression very Dated and not much attention to detail!.Check in was ok! then wee dingy tight corridor with... Besides a breathtaking view of the Oban bay, this is disappointing experience. Most of the personel is not local, and just not really friendly; the rooms are outdated (at least mine was) and run down. A broken window and remains of another broken window in the drain. This place needs a serious refit. Breakfast is served which may give a... More

I do not think this is a place for the less mobile as there is a long walk to the bulk of the rooms in the "modern" extension at the back along corridors and up several wee staircases. The room was disappointing, the heater had half melted controls, paintwork was peeling. Breakfast on one of the two mornings was very... More

Beautifully situated on one of the most breathtaking bays anywhere, this hotel has a lovely Victorian facade, behind which lurks a contemporary failure. The bedrooms are housed in a brutalist, ugly extension to the rear of the building. You will need all your strength to access these rooms via various steps and labyrinthine corridors before reaching the rather antiquated lift.... More
