Good hotel, great location, the average price on this site is missleading as we paid £175 per night, which I thought was a bit expensive given the facilities on offer. But this is probably one of the best places to stay in Oban more

What a find! We pulled up the drive and were amazed from the first site of the house and the gorgeous view of the bay and the beginning of the very long sunset. A beautifully maintained property, with the best views of Oban and the islands, owned and run by real professionals with great character, charm, and personality. A very short taxi drive or 20 minute walk to a large choice of restaurants for evening meals. An even shorter walk to the Hotel's own stock of around 100 malt whiskies! more

Stayed at Dungallan for two nights in March and could not fault it. We were greeted by Marion, one of the owners, upon our arrival and she could not have been nicer or more helpful. Our room was beautiful with stunning sea views as described on their website. This was our first visit to Oban and we will definitely return... more
