The setting is perfect, the rooms are clean, good breakfast and it has a bar. The downsides - it was a little pricey for what it was, the decor is a little old-fashioned and not of the highest quality (some linoleum etc).

Amazing location for this old house refurbished into a so called boutique hotel. Service is essential nothing left to gadgets and extras. Rooms have enough space and decorated/furnished according to english style.Clean and comfortable with friendly tenants. We arrived w/t booking, therefore we were charged full rates.

Stayed here in July and was allocated a room on the second floor with a wonderful picture window overlooking the bay and Island of Mull. I've been to over 40 countries and rate this as a superb place: a delightful combination of a country house and military museum with stunning views and outstanding food, wine and service due to a labour of love by owners Marion & Mike, who couldn't do enough for us!
