If I could give this B&B 6 stars I would. Our holiday took us to 4 places and this was unquestionably the best. We had the twin room overlooking the garden. Our en suite had a really great power shower and sturdy pine beds. Our hostess Marian could not do enough for us and we sat in her immaculate lounge... More

We stayed in the self catering flat for 2 nights. The apartment is well equipped, clean and tidy and very comfortable. It is ideal for exploring the area in the car and there are lovely walks all around. Marion is a lovely lady and nothing is too much trouble. She is a star bless her.

We had a very nice ground floor room, with a very warm welcome despite not arriving until 10.30pm on our first night. Located a few miles outside of Oban, but a scenic drive into the town (especially over the bridge at the Falls of Lorn). Excellent facilities, a great breakfast (with gluten free bread for my wife) and lots of... More

Everything at Ardchoille was just perfect. Marion and Donald made us feel so welcome and went out of their way getting timetables, etc., for our next days visit to Fort William and Mallaig. The breakfast was beautifully presented and catered for every need. Marion recommended a local restaurant a twenty minute walk away and we were not disappointed. We had... More

Our family stayed two nights while exploring Oban on a weekend trip. From check in to check out Marian and Donald were friendly, gracious, and exemplary hosts. The inn was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. When we asked about a bus to Oban (a short affair) Marian printed out the bus schedule for us and nothing was too much trouble.... More

Used this lovely b&b as a one night stop over before catching the ferry from Oban. Very clean self catering unit attached to b&b. really lovely welcome from Marion who recommended a Stunning restaurant (Hawthorn) within a 20 min walk. Had amazing meal then walked home long the beach. A short but very comfortable stay. Would def. use again.

Stayed in the self catering flat at Ardchoille with my husband, daughter and dog for one night on our way home from the Outer Hebrides. what a find. Owners so friendly and helpful. The night we stayed there was very heavy rain but nothing was too much bother for them. We had breakfast in the house next morning and oh... More

My boyfriend and I (28 years) are currently travelling through Scotland and Oban was one of our stops. We would have never thought that this small town would be our favorite one. The owners of this B&B are very friendly and caring. We had a flat on our own, which was very neat, cozy and comfortable with a fridge and... More

Situated a couple of miles from the Connel Bridge , Oban. Very easy to find, and plenty of car parking space. The owners greeted us, enthusiastically, when we arrived and showed us where everything was. We had planned to eat at the Hawthorns, but they advised us that it was closed. They were quick to suggest other eating places in... More

I stayed at Ardochoille my first night in Scotland. After spending the better part of 24 hours on planes, in airports, or trying to figure out how to drive on the opposite side of the road, I arrived at Ardochoille around 16:30 (UK time). I was a bit nervous, as I was traveling on my own for the first time,... More
