Thank you Carolyn and family for such a lovely stay at Lorne View. Clean and cosy room. Wonderful breakfasts with stunning views out to sea and islands. Welcoming and extremely helpful. Location is situated above the town so for walkers it is very steep but taxis are plentiful. Would recommend. more
Stunning picturesque view from the room we stayed in. Very warm welcome, and treated well througout stay. Excellent full Scottish breakfast. Professionally presented and very clean, but rooms rather cramped, so regrettably would be suggesting to friends that they try elsewhere. more
I would just like to point out that Lorne View has three bedrooms one of which admittedly is quite small but I do point this out when people are booking. I think it is such a shame that you had such great praise for your welcome, breakfast etc and yet you would recommend that people went elsewhere.
What a wonderful B n B. Its only a few minutes walk from the high street. Can't fault the room with stunning views. Carolyn made us feel welcome and was really nice person and also there if you needed any infomation about oban. Food was really nice, also the wee extra touch made you feel welcome. Myself and my boyfriend stayed in this B & B for 2 nights at the beginning of May. From the start, Carolyn, the owner could not be more helpful. From local tourist knowledge to supplying plasters, she was always on hand if we needed any assistance! We were in room no 2, which was modern, clean and had lovely little... more
found this little gem by chance and did we strike it lucky! Carolyn (proprietor) openned the door not only to her beautiful home but her hospitality also. Our room was exceptionally clean, well stocked with tea/coffee and dare I mention.....choccy biscuits! The view from our room was stunning and we could have spent all morning gazing out to the Islands. more
A fantastic bed and breakfast located about 5 minutes walk (up a steep hill) from the main street in Oban. Our room was very modern, spotlessly clean and well equipped with LCD tv, DVD player, lovely furnishings and selection of toiletries. And...with a view of the harbour which was priceless.
