The food and the service were excellent, as are the views from the front if you ignore the main road. Feel it was over priced as the rooms were quite basic. Although the double bed was made up of two single beds zipped together it was really comfortable but the taps in the over bath shower were very difficult to... More

Our room was basically fine, not huge but more than adequate. Location is nice with lovely views over the loch and a short walk into the town. We picked this hotel as it was dog friendly. However on arrival we discovered that dogs are allowed in the bedrooms and reception but not the public areas e.g. The lounge bar. We... More

The staff were all excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Second to none. However, we paid almost £400 for 2 nights bed and breakfast in an executive room and it wasn't worth half that. The room was large but basic and bare. The bed itself was ok but the pillows were like flat cotton wool. Pound stretchers worn out best!... More

To expensive for me, retired and single, £165 B&B, got the same at the Bank House in centre of town for £30 with a great breakfast. If you like a beer and music like I do it means a taxi each time you go out.

My husband arranged an overnight stay for my birthday at Loch Fyne and I was very impressed with his good taste! There is a lovely roaring fire as you go in and the rooms are adequately sized with en-suite. The spa facilities are great with a hot tub outside - I was pregnant at the time so couldn't experience that... More

We were staying in Loch Awe and decided to venture into Inveraray for a spa day, we were greeted by a lovely lady on the reception who assisted us with Dip and Dine passes at £15PP which we found very affordable. We enjoyed the spa and outdoor hot tub but were disappointed afterwards with the slow service, wrong order and... More

Booked with the hotels website on best available Double Room on DBB basis. Arrived at 1.30 and was promptly told check in time was 3pm. But we could use the hotels facilities until then. We remained in the lounge area until we heard another couple checking in at 2.55 and offered an unpaid upgrade. We then checked in and was... More

Had a great stay at the Loch Fyne Hotel. The location is first rate over looking the same named sea Loch. It was a typical Scottish hotel, very welcoming and homely. All of the staff we encountered were courteous and professional, a real bonus. The rooms were small but perfectly formed, very clean and tidy. We were on a breakfast... More

Recently back from a honeymoon at Loch Fyne and want to recommend it to others looking for a quiet, relaxing and pampered get away. We walked every day and still came away with walks we wanted to do - incredible views and unspoilt idyllic locations. The hotel is a super 4* get away with a gorgeous treat every evening of... More
