We recently stayed at the Loch Fyne Hotel arriving Monday 22nd June and departing Thursday 25th. Having read previous reviews our main concern was that we might be kept waiting an awfully long time each evening for our meal. On all three nights the service was excellent. We tended to go for the latest time (8.30 p.m.) available to dine... more

We stayed at the Loch Fyne this weekend ( 26th and 27th June) , I had booked it as a birthday treat for my husband who was keen to fish one of the local lochs. The hotel is in a good location , a nice wee walk into Inverary . We got a room in the old part of the... more

Having read reviews after booking I was somewhat apprehensive but was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is lovely with a tremendous view, our room, albeit without a loch view, was immaculate , the food was first class with a large choice for breakfast and three choices for each course at dinner. Pool and spa fairly recent and lovely. Not much to... more

This hotel has been very cleverly marketed as a luxery hotel and spa but it's not. My wife and I enjoyed our stay ...but here are a few points I want to make. Our bedroom was clean but shabby, the two single beds had been pushed together and as the two headboards were screwed to the wall it just looked... more

Room was adequate but nothing special. Venison & Vegetarian sausages & turkey rashers were on the menu but unavailable. The first 3 choices of wine were also unavailable. I ordered the Daily Telegraph & finally got it after 3 reminders at 7p.m. on the second day. I asked for an extra pillow & was assured that it would be put... more

Pat - Scotland - We stayed at the Loch Fyne for 4 nights in early June and had a great break. The hotel is in a fantastic location with amazing views. We are just back from a 3 night stay at the Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa and there is only one word to describe our experience "outstanding". Dawn at reception upgraded us to a junior suite in the old building which over looked the loch. All staff members we met during our stay could not have been any more helpful... more

If you are unfortunate enough to be assigned to bedroom no 18 I would suggest you take a mattress topper with you . I have just spent the last 2 nights sleeping on a bath towel folded over 4 times to try ensure that I did not wake up with a sore back due to the poor condition of the... more
