Recently returned from a long weekend at this hotel. It is well located on the shore of the Loch, with wonderful views from the public rooms (though not from the bedrooms). We were astonished at the quick and efficient service in the restaurant and delighted with the quality of the food (breakfasts and dinners) throughout the weekend. Although the pool... More

Just checked out of Lochfyne hotel and Spa where we had an amazing 2 night dinner bed and breakfast stay.the room was very comfortable and only downside was noisy seagulls in the morning but that's nature. Our check in was easy and the pool and spa was excellent. Dinner in the restaurant was a six course taster menu which was... More

Excellent break in hotel . Service was good and staff very friendly and helpful . Food was delicious and well presented . Parts of hotel are looking a little tired , furniture in rooms needs updating and although room was spacious and comfortable it was quite dark and the lighting was insufficient . Pool etc enjoyable but steam room requires... More

Recently returned from this hotel but very doubtful if we shall return Our fist experience was when the hotel suffered a 5 hour power outage ( all the area involved so can't blame Crerar hotels). Because there was no food available during this power cut my wife decided on a packet of crisps until the power was repaired but I... More

As we set off from glasgow we were looking forward to a good girls spa weekend away, which sadly was not enjoyable. We arrived early so we could not check in which we understood, so went for a walk to find somewhere for lunch. There was 4 of us and when we returned our other two friends were waiting for... More

This hotel was truely a disappointment. I am surprised at the positive feedback and reviews it has had from other Trip Advisor contributors. We arrived about 4pm and managed to sign in as a bus load arrived. We tried to take our luggage to the room but were forced to line up behind at least 50 of the bus travellers... More

We have stayed at this hotel many times in the last 3 years we lost count at 25. Great food and lovely location. Great value for money. Pool area needs upgrading and hot tub needs fixed but will not put us off returning.

A Spa Break to 'Pamper Me' in a quiet and beautiful Scottish Highlands area. Disabled parking bays immediately opposite the front door along with several other spaces. Check-in was efficient and my bags were carried to my room which was located close to the front of the hotel. There was some confusion over what I actually needed due to my... More

The hotel was easy to find, just off the main road (mind you the only road...). I have spent last Saturday night with my partner in an executive room. I would of expected this kind of a room to contain a king size bed, the room size was smallish but for 1 night I cannot complain. Swimming pool, steam room... More

On arrival at the hotel the the only parking spots available were at the back next to the trash bins. We had to drag our suitcases over uneven ground and if it hadn't been the middle of summer with long Scottish evenings, the unlit area would have been less than ideal. Nobody was at the reception desk initially and there... More
