Stayed at the loch fyne hotel on the 6th Feb and could not fault it. The views over the loch are amazing. The room we had was lovely and clean. We were booked on a dinner bed and breakfast package and both meals were superb. All of the staff were friendly and efficient, nothing was too much bother for them.... more

My husband took me to Loch Fyne Hotel for 2 night to celebrate my birthday. We booked a junior suite with loch views and also requested an early check in which we received with no problem. The room was fabulous and the views just to die for. Lovely big bed and comfortable seating area. Fantastic window seat to sit and... more

Spent the Christmas break here with my elderly mother we had a really good time the room was comfortable food was of a very high standard and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. I had stayed here before in the summer it was quite different seeing the snow capped hills. I felt the manager in particular... more

My visit with my family and friends to Loch Fyne was for a Decleor Promotional Evening. The answer to our no queues Christmas Shopping. Beautiful treatments that afternoon, following by an amazing Evening Dinner included with hotel package and then all 7 of us invading the Spa again to purchase further great deals. I for one know my husband enjoyed... more

These guys have almost got it right, but not quite. There are so many little things they could do to make it much better. If you stay in a suite then I’m sure you'll be pleased. But anything lower than that you'll be disappointed. My husband and I wanted a romantic night away before our baby arrived. They put us... more

The location of this hotel almost - but not quite - makes up for the disappointing service. The views are outstanding, and the public rooms welcoming, particularly the open fires. However the overall impression is one of overworked and under-trained staff. Our room was not clean - dust in the ceiling corners and a dirty toilet. It was dark and... more

We stayed at the Loch Fyne Hotel for two nights to wind down after a busy festive period, as my partner and i are both in the catering trade ourselves, and it was wonderful to be looked after by such friendly attentive staff, they made us feel very welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Infact id like to poach... more

Having read the website we were expecting something special but we were slightly disappointed. The welcome at reception wasnt really welcoming more perfunctory. Our room was lovely though well appointed and with plenty of space. The bathroom was also large with both a shower cubicle and a separate rolltop bath. The bar area in the hotel is barn like and... more

Thank you for your recent review and for your great comments about your bedroom. All of the bedrooms at Loch fyne are individual in shape & size. Thanks to your comments we are now looking at placing a wood burning stove in the bar area to make it a little more cosy. We did have an issue with the steam...

We stayed at the Loch Fyne hotel for one night on the way to Oban. Our choice was based on the convenience of the location rather than the hotel itself. First the good points - the location is both beautiful and convenient, the food in the restaurant was very good value for money. Dinner was spoiled only by the terrible... more
