We got the warmest of welcomes from Maggie. From the front would would think this some ordinary house, but from the back the view is absolutely stunning out to the loch and up and down it. We hadn't ever had a better view from a B&B, or hotel for that matter. One can walk out of patio doors to get... More

Family of five stayed in August 2014. Last minute change to plans and needed space for an additional child. No trouble at all for Maggie who kindly put an extra mattress into the twin room which was perfect. Breakfast was good with lots of extra toast to hand. Fantastic view from the rear of the house onto the loch. It... More

What matters about Maggie’s is concealed behind the shell of a bland semi-detached frontage. Behind the terraced decking affords views over a shingle shore, slipway , paraphernalia of a working fishery and the beautiful Loch Fyne. Did I say “and” ? Our room afforded the same ever-changing view; a compact ensuite; good TV; touch sensitive reading lights and a contour... More

After driving through a blizzard, we were met by a warm, friendly welcome and a cup of tea by Maggie and her husband Alistair. The B&B is situated on the banks of beautiful Loch Fyne, and our room - complete with memory foam mattress and powerful hot shower - looked out over the water. Breakfast was fantastic, and we did... Maggie's b&b lies on the shores of Loch Fyne, in Argyll, West coast of Scotland. Beautiful location and excellent view over the loch. Maggie's b&b is an example of Scottish hospitaliy at its best. I travel a lot for work and will definitely stop over again when in the area. The breakfast faultless, the room spacious, tidy and clean, and... More

We did a 15 day road trip throughout Scotland and decided to stay a night northwest of Glasgow. Located between Oban and Loch Lomond, Maggie’s B&B was selected after we saw a picture of the amazing deck with views to the Loch Fyne and after reading so many reviews praising the B&B. Immediately after arriving (we’re a young Portuguese couple)... More

I had finished walking the Cobbler mountain and needed an overnight stay before returning home. I was very fortunate that the tourist office directed me to Maggie's B&B. I had been to Inveraray a number of times so I was able to find Maggie's place easily enough. Its a few miles south of the town. By the time I got... More
