Spent 1 night here to visit Inveraray and see the jail. Was met by the owner and shown to our room. Room was spacious, clean and had a lovely king size bed. My husband and I stayed here for two days in March. I had booked online and had no problem with the reservation. We parked on the street, outside the tea room/guest house. Parking was free because it was off season, but I don't know what arrangements are made during visitor season, as everything in the area was park and display.... More

We ordered a selection of their home made cakes which were all excellent, as was the fresh coffee. Cakes were: Coffee/Walnut Choc/Orange Carrot Lemon Service was quick and friendly and the rest of the menu looked very good. Highly recommended, will happily return.

being a hardworking local who doesn't have much time to experience the finer food on offer in our lovely town - i can quite definately recommend brambles for lunch, breakfast or just a slice of their fab cakes - just had lunch today (great and took away a piece of amazing cake for later!!) and the day after our wedding... Stayed before and still great service with a warm friendly smile. The room was spotless and warm and the bed was lovely and comfy far better than most hotels we've stayed in . we just popped into brambles for breakfast this morning as we couldn't bear the really bad food at the hotel we stayed at what a lovely welcome we got and the service and food was excellent we would certainly recommend eating here and next time we visit the area this is where we will stay thanks to all the staff...
